Buttercream/Frosting Options

Italian Buttercream
Beautiful and silky, holds up the best in hot weather. We recommend this buttercream for all summer weddings that are outdoors, and for intricate/detailed designs.

American Buttercream
The most similar to homemade style frosting. It is sweeter and thicker than Italian buttercream. It has a matte finish, and does not hold up as well for hot outdoor weddings.

Cream Cheese Frosting
Deliciously creamy and tangy, but not as stable as other options. Because of this, we only use it as a filling in cakes, or on cupcakes.

Vegan Vanilla Frosting
Our vegan version of American buttercream. It does not hold up well in hot weather, and cakes will require refrigeration if warmer than 75 degrees out. On cupcakes, it can take a little more heat, but may still need to be refrigerated if it’s an extremely hot day.

Chocolate Frosting
Rich and chocolatey. Generally, we use this as a filling or on cupcakes, but we can use it on tiered cakes as well. (It is vegan, but you wouldn’t know if we didn’t tell you!)

Vanilla Cake
Delicious plain, or pairs perfectly with raspberry compote and either Italian or American buttercream.

Chocolate cake with salted caramel and chocolate frosting filling and Italian buttercream finish.

Lemon cake with fresh blueberry compote filling and Italian buttercream.

Lightly chocolate red velvet cake, filled with cream cheese frosting and finished with Italian or American buttercream.

Loaded with shredded carrots, coconut, and raisins. Filled with cream cheese frosting, and finished with Italian buttercream.
